Education Diagnostics Services
Less than optimum academic performance of a large number of students from pre-primary to high school level (typically 5 - 14 years old) due to learning challenges and environmental factors. It is estimated that up to 20% of students may have some kind of learning issue that goes un-diagnosed and therefore untreated. This prevents hundreds of students from taking full advantage of the education and training opportunities available to them which in turn affects their long-term prospects for employment, income and maintaining a reasonable standard of living. Formation of an assessment centre where learning assessments can be done for students at the pre-primary, primary and high school level as a part of developing targeted intervention strategies for below-average performing students living in the constituency.
